My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marlie is a 5 year old female Black Laborador Retriever that came to us from a puppy mill auction in Nebraska last November. Marlie was being used to breed "Bulladors"--a "designer" mix of American Bulldogs and Labs. No one was bidding on her at the auction in November and our Foster Care Coordinator who went to the auction couldn't bare to leave her behind as she likely would have been shot if not sold. She is mostly if not all blind but that doesn't slow her down.

Marlie is super affectionate, loves attention and loves walks. She is good with cats and kids but can get into fights with dogs her size or larger. She would do best as either the only dog or with small, calm dogs. She may have an accident in a new place before she learns her way around but learns very quickly. She also is crate trained and will follow the sound of her food dish into the crate.

Marlie's adoption fee is $150.00. She is spayed, received a dental, vaccinated for distemper and rabies and microchipped.
