Simba's Story...
Approximate Birth Date is 4/23/13. Meet Simba - orange and white tabby - What a beautiful sweet baby this is and he is 8 weeks old and ready for adoption! We think he and his brother, Leo, are Maine Coon mix. Call Bea Hall at 704-490-0892 Cell or home at 704-782-6573.

History: On May 14th I was in downtown Concord having lunch at Ellie's with my daughter and mother. After leaving Ellie's, we walked down Union St and I noticed a lady with a plastic storage container in front of Kitty City. I asked her if I could see the kittens and there were 2, approximately 3 weeks old, lying on a blanket. She was trying to get Kitty City to take them. Because these babies need to be bottle feed, Kitty City was unable to help her. She said she was just going to put them back where she found them. I knew these kittens would not make it on their own. She said she would take the kittens back in 2 to 3 weeks but just did not know how to take care of them now being so young. So I offered to foster them for the 2 to 3 weeks till they were eating on their own. When the kittens were weaned and eating on their own, I tried to contact this lady. I left several messages on her phone but she never returned my calls. So I am now trying to find good homes for these sweet babies. They are little love bugs and are simply beautiful. These kittens have been around other cats and my dog. So they are fine around other animals. Their names are Leo and Simba.

These Kittens have been combo blood tested for FELV (neg) and FIV (neg) and have received their first distemper vaccination, have no fleas, were bathed, ears checked and cleaned and wormed. Call for an appointment to see our kittens today! Call Bea Hall at 704-490-0892 Cell or home at 704-782-6573. Thank you for considering giving a home to a rescued kitten!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Harrisburg, Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Harrisburg,, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Harrisburg,.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburg, already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburg, breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburg, paves the way for another one to be saved.
