My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ANNIE OAKLEY
2 year old Female Maine Coon Mix
Fostered in Napa

November 26, 2013 update: Annie is through nursing and has put on a little winter weight at 8.5 lbs. She can still keep her son in check, despite his 10 lb frame. She loves to announce her presence, especially when she is coming in for head scratches. More relaxed than her extroverted son, she is content to nap or play with her toys while he cajoles his foster parent's attention. She is still a comfort to him, and they frequently share favorite napping spots, even if they no longer quite fit. They both love to sleep on the bed, whether it is human nap time or not. Annie is anxious to find a forever home with her son to share, where her human(s) will lavish their attention upon both kitties.

July 31, 2013 update: Annie Oakley and Wild Bill Play http://youtu.be/vEThuCwmQJ4

Annie is a great conversationalist! She is incredibly vocal and coos like a dove all day long. Annie is affectionate and will approach purring when she wants attention. Her soft, medium-length white fur appears to have been the canvas of a chaotic artist; it is spattered with gray spots. She wears an attractive mask which covers her nose and gives her a model's beauty mark. Her cute pink ears are decorated with freckles, and her toes are a mix of grey and white. Her eyes are peridot green.

Annie has a tranquil disposition and gets along well with other cats, but she hides from small children and is not fond of dogs.
She is a wonderful mother and had six kittens. She currently enjoys spending time with her remaining boy. Wild Bill is her mini-me, and he is posted on the Kitten Page. Wild Bill is now about 5 months old and weighs just over 7 pounds in contrast to his mother's weight of about 8 pounds. They are bonded and need to be adopted together.

Annie is healthy and should be brushed at least weekly. She eats both wet and dry cat food. She will come to you spayed, tested, microchipped and vaccinated. Annie is litterbox perfect.

Annie is fostered in Napa, CA.
