Shakira's Story...
Shakira is PURE JOY! She is a happy, sweet girl who gets along with all dogs and humans of all sizes. (And, that tail wag don't lie.)

Shakira is housetrained, great with kids and other dogs, and is just a sweet dog! She hasn't been tested with cats, but we can test her if necessary. She is up-to-date on shots, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, and is spayed.

A perfect day for Shakira is going for a walk, playing in the yard, and coming home to snuggle with you. She is the perfect companion!!!!

Any family with kids or dogs would be lucky to have Shakira in their lives!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shakira, a Atlanta Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
