Sonic's Story...
Sonic is a delightful 2 year old catahoula mix!

She knows basic commands such as sit, out, come, and working on paw and down. She knows not to be in the kitchen while her foster parents are eating or while Destiny the foster dog sibling is eating, she stays in her area to eat. Good on leash for short or long walks. Really not interested too much in other dogs but just fine with them. Laid back and low key. House trained. She is great with kids. A little shy of men but warms up nicely after a while. Sweet Sonic has not been exposed to kitty friends, so we do not know how she would do in a home with cats.

Please email us at bonniebluerescue@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting Sonic! Our adoption fee is $300. $75 of the adoption fee is refundable if proof of obedience class is demonstrated within 3 months of adoption. Each of our pups goes to their forever family up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered & microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonic, a Richmond Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
