Zita is a beautiful pure white male Oriental Shorthair Mix, with laughing, innocent, blue eyes, and a sleek and athletic build. Zita is special needs as we believe he is deaf, though he may hear some high pitched noises. He has this innocence about him that is very endearing. He has this adorable way of tilting his head…just way too cute. While hearing-impaired this little guy must be kept out of harm's way, but otherwise he enjoys life and it does not slow him down at all.
He is a total clown and super inquisitive! The only hard part is getting a good still picture of the little guy—he does not sit still unless he is sleeping! He instantly purrs when he sees you, unless of course he is playing! He bats at sunbeams and chases feathers. He also takes swats at the water running in the kitty fountain. Zita runs around the house with his favorite toys in his mouth. We have found his toys in some entertaining places. Shoes are for dragging around the house and chewing on…he loves my sneakers. I wonder if he is a puppy in a kitten's body?
Zita is laid back and trusting. He can entertain himself with the various toys around the place. He will run like a little maniac up and down the hall! When he has played enough and needs to sleep, he might find you and curl up near you, or just crash on a nice cozy blanket with his sister close by. Well most of the time that is what he does. He does occasionally fall asleep in random places like a shelf or over the arm of a chair....I think you get the picture.
However, every night Zita and Fiona come into our room and curl up between us to sleep. It's wonderful falling asleep to such loud purr machines.
He and his sister, Fiona, are best buddies! They rough and tumble, and gallop around the house together. The bond between Zita and Fiona is very strong and we prefer they be adopted together.
Zita will come to you spayed, tested, microchipped and vaccinated. He is litterbox perfect.
He is fostered in Reno, NV.
