found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
After being seen by a vet, it was determined that Sassy’s leg was likely malformed at birth. It is a bit shorter than the other leg and does not have any toes/pads. It doesn’t appear to be causing her any pain. Initially we were planning to amputate as we were worried she would drag it and cause infection/sores. Since moving to foster care, Sassy has had no problems with her special leg and definitely uses it to balance and bear some weight. While our vet has cleared Sassy and does not feel like she will have any special medical needs, potential adopters should be aware that future complications could arise. Sassy’s leg does not slow her down at all…she can run, jump and play like a normal, happy pup! Just check out her in action here: http://youtu.be/MAcl16jZBT8 and http://youtu.be/x1ou6VVFZUo.
Sass loves to play with other dogs and with toys. She is doing well with housetraining, is crate trained and walks well on leash. She enjoys car rides too. Sassy’s foster mom reports that, “Sassy is full of life and so so sweet!! She loves kids and other dogs and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. We love her to pieces!” Sassy is an extra special pup who deserves a forever home that will give her as much love as she gives them in return! Sassy is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and current on prevention.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in adopting Sassy! Our adoption fee is $300. $75 of the adoption fee is refundable if proof of obedience class is demonstrated within 3 months of adoption. Each of our pups goes to their forever family up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered & microchipped.
