Camo's Story...
Gorgeous Camo is a 4 month old labrador retriever boy. His momma, Libby, is a purebred Lab & we think Camo is, too (although we can't be 100% sure without knowing who his daddy was). Camo and his siblings were dumped at a high-kill shelter in Louisiana when they were just 1 week old. Thanks to our shelter rescue partner with this shelter, these babies and their momma were lucky enough to move into foster care. Camo is learning all about good puppy manners in his foster home & is working on cratetraining and housebreaking. He is now ready to find a forever family of his own!

Please email us at bonniebluerescue@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting Camo! Our adoption fee is $300. $75 of the adoption fee is refundable if proof of obedience class is demonstrated within 3 months of adoption. Each of our pups goes to their forever family up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered & microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Camo, a Richmond Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
