Sierra's Story...
Calling all ranch/land owners!!!!!!!!! Sierra is about 50lbs, rather submissive love bug. She should have a large area to run, or have an owner that is willing to take her to the dog park so she can be the social butterfly that she is. She is typical for her breed in terms of her need to herd. She likes to round up the dogs at the dog park which is pretty funny to watch. She is very gentle and is good with kids and other animals. She enjoys chasing the chihuahua foster dogs around and wrestling with them and she loves to run, Sierra may have a slight case of doggy vertigo which comes and goes and does not require treatment. She is very lovable and adores her foster family, cats and dogs. Contact us for more information. www.myhavenonearth.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sierra, a Citrus Heights Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Citrus Heights, or seeking a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Citrus Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Citrus Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Citrus Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Citrus Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
