Hope's Story...
We just took in another dog in terrible shape. We call her Hope. She is a Pittie found at the dump in Scottsbluff. She was a bait dog in a dog fighting ring. They chopped off her ears, ground her teeth down to nubs, (so she could not fight off the dogs attacking her) and she has dog bite wounds all over her body. On top of all that, she was horribly emaciated...starving. We are in absolute love with her. She is being fostered in Scottsbluff. She is a sweetheart, but she is sad. You will see in the second picture how defeated she feels. Tortured and then dumped like trash. Hope is around 2 yrs old. She does great with other dogs, just is uncomfortable with little, yippy dogs. She is in a home that is teaching her about the finer things in life...she has a huge backyard, dogs to play with, she gets daily walks, and most importantly she is being loved for the first time in her life. She will be ready for adoption in a couple weeks. We want to get some weight on her and have her spayed when she is healthy enough. Look at her face and you will be under her spell, too...be forewarned!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a Alliance Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Alliance, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Alliance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alliance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alliance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alliance paves the way for another one to be saved.
