NELLY's Story...
Nelly is a two year old blue pit bull, and she's simply GORGEOUS. She was raised in a family with very young children, and she's awesome with them. (Few people know that pit bulls were originally called "nanny dogs" because they were so great with babies and toddlers!) Nelly is playful with other dogs, and she would make an amazing companion dog or family dog. She's 100% marshmallow--she loves being snuggled, talked to, and generally pampered.

We're looking for a family to give this beautiful girl the love she deserves. I can promise she'll love you back tenfold!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NELLY, a Chicago Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
