DOB: About 3 years old || BREED/COLORING: ShihTzu/Brussels Griffon Mix || SIZE: Waldo weighs about 14lbs and is full grown || HISTORY: Waldo was living on county property in a pile of pallets and wood for over a year. We don't know how he ended up there, but when we were contacted about him we went and rescued him. Because of his ordeal and living wild, he was VERY fearful when we first got him. We have been working with him for 9 months now and he is still very shy - but he's ready for a REAL home. || PERSONALITY: Waldo is very sweet and affectionate and wants pets and closeness when he's comfortable. He's not a 'let's go on a walk' dog - he's a 'I'll sit on your lap and love on you if it's quiet' dog. || TRAINING: Waldo doesn't really have any training. He will need work on housebreaking and we recommend continuing crate training. || WOULD DO BEST: Waldo needs an adult-only quiet home... preferrably with another well-adjusted dog or with someone who is home a lot. He needs lots of patience and TLC. || CATS/DOGS/KIDS: Waldo would love to be with another well-adjusted dog his size... he's great with cats too. He is absolutely NOT recommended for children because he is so fearful. || VET RECORD :All of our dogs are currently vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. || AVAILABILITY: This dog is available for adoption now and is being fostered or kenneled in the San Fernando Valley area. Please email us and we will send you an adoption application.
