Harley's Story...
Meet Harley!

He is a GORGEOUS long haired black and white 8 week old kitten!

His nick name is "Hank the Tank" because he is a thick, strong, energetic boy! He is everyone's favorite as he is sociable and friendly-always looking for nose scratches and love pats.

He has great energy and will make little odds and ends into hours of fun.

He is up to date on vaccinations, has been de-wormed, tested negative for FELV/FIV and will be neutered soon. We ask or an adoption fee to help cover some of the medical expenses.

He loves people of all ages, other cats and is being fostered in a home with dogs.

If you are interested in Hank, would like an application or have any questions, don't hesitate to send an email and you will be connected with his adoption coordinator.

**Please note, Harley is NOT at our adoption store, he is in a foster home**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a El Cerrito Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in El Cerrito, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in El Cerrito.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cerrito already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cerrito breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cerrito paves the way for another one to be saved.
