Kiara's Story...
Hi my name is Kiara, I am 8 years old. I was an owner surrender. I am sweet but shy; I want to snuggle but then I get scared, so I still find it best to sleep at the end of the bed or on the couch. I love it when you rub my ears and if you stop I will push your hand for more. I do so well on a leash, I just love to walk and smell the air. When it is time to potty I go to the back door and get really excited and do a little dance. I don't mind the crate, but when everyone leaves for work and school I go in there, however I prefer the couch. I love treats, just love those soft treats. I don't care for toys or bones. I would just rather sit next to you or go for a walk. I think the other dogs here are ok, they don't bother me. I could live with other dogs or be your only girl. I am excited at the chance to be your little pup princess!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiara, a Germantown Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
