for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Addy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Addy's Story...
Addy's adoption fee is $350.

Introducing Addy! He is about 3 years old, weighs about 21 pounds, and is a mix of Shih-tzu and Cairn Terrier. Addy is neutered, micro chipped and up to date with vaccines.

The word that describes Addy is amazing!! He is house trained and well mannered. When he barks at anything in the house or outside, with just a quick word he stops right away. His picture doesn’t even begin to show his awesome character and personality. Addy loves to play with his toys, and he is not destructive with them. Even more exciting for him is to have them thrown so he can play fetch, and he also loves to run and be chased. The look of pure joy and mischief that comes over him will bring a smile to your face every time.

Addy came to us from a shelter as an unclaimed stray, and had an extreme ear infection that tormented him badly, but he has recovered completely now, and is looking for his forever home. He would suit an active family without small children as he loves to play and mouth his human, however he does so gently. He plays well with other dogs and has shown no aggression of any kind. Addy would love a doggy pal that likes to run and play; he has played really well with a Husky female, and they chased each other until they were happy and exhausted. If you feel that this awesome creature would be a great match for your family and lifestyle, we’d love to hear from you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Addy, a Toronto Shih Tzu/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Cairn Terrier for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
