Drake's Story...
What a handsome guy, Drake with his long dark mane of fur and stunning green eyes. Drake came to Robyn’s nest as a surrender after his human grandma had to make the heartbreaking decision that she could no longer care for him. Drake prefers and needs to be the only cat in the home. He is laid back, sweet and loves to talk. He enjoys dogs, people and children. He has a favorite mouse and likes to sit back and have a good chew on a busy bone. Find him a cat tree or scratching post and he is set. Drake is about 4 years old, neutered, up to date on his shots and micro chipped. Could you be that special someone for Drake.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drake, a Germantown Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
