Georgia's Story...
Why is there a smile on Georgia's face? She's finally available for adoption. Director Greg Willey rescued Georgia and Peaches from an overcrowded kennel that was located in Georgia. It was found that they were heart-worm positive once they arrived. It's been a long journey but they are both healthy and happy pups that are definitely ready to find their forever homes. While going through treatment, Georgia and Peaches represented Friendship at many events, including ones with children and loved every minute of it. If any dogs ever deserved new loving homes it's G & P. They do not want or need to be adopted together. Please don't make them wait any longer. Adopt Georgia or Peaches today. Georgia is 4 years old.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Visit anytime during regular business hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Elyria Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
