Linda's Story...
Hi there, my name is Linda and I am a 1-2 year old 22 lb female Dachshund/Terrier mix. My foster mom, Cindi, rescued me when she found me wandering the streets alone. I am quite the lovebug and my favorite thing to do is to cuddle and be loved on! I get along great with everyone I meet, though I do take a little time to warm up to other dogs. I am doing great with housebreaking and I don't even mind laying in my kennel when the door is left open. I did test positive for heartworms but the great news is that the vet recommended keeping me on monthly prevention as my treatment. I am current on vaccinations and already spayed. Apply to adopt me today and I promise to be your loyal gal for life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Linda, a Walker Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Walker, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Walker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walker paves the way for another one to be saved.
