Cali and Dewey's dad was put in a nursing home in Boston. He had them since they were tiny kittens but was unable to take them with him. He was heartbroken. They were boarded at a Petsmart and they hated it there. You would have thought they were wild cats, but they were just stressed out and scared. Once we got them in a carrier they completely changed....it was like they knew they were safe. The only other alternative they had was to be put to sleep.
These two are unusual. They are both Polydactyls which means they have extra toes....so cute! They are so happy to be out of that loud boarding facility and safe in a foster home. Will you consider giving a couple of lovely seniors a home? They were born in 1999 and sadly Cali has since passed away. Dewey is still hanging in there!
