Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tell your friends you own a "GATOR". You know, when we have to come up with so many names for these wonderful dogs, sometimes you run out of ideas. One of our volunteers affectionately called this dog "Gator" because she said when he is out in the grass, he will just lay flat on the ground with his legs splayed out to the side and it reminded her of an alligator sunning itself in the hot sun of summer. So the name, Gator, just kinda stuck. Gator is a male, hound/Labrador retriever mix and very distinctive colors of black and white. Maybe we should have called him TUX. He is the friendliest sort of guy and never seems to meet a stranger. He loves to be petted, loved, and will just crawl up in your lap for attention. He is just a big ole baby. Gator is approx 40 lbs. and is at his adult size. He is 12 - 14 months old. He has been started on his vaccines and is schedule to be neutered the week of June 27. He will complete vaccines in mid July and be ready to transport after that. Cat friendly, kid friendly, just absolutely the friendliest sort of dog ever. We love him and think you will too. So if you want to tell your friends that you own a gator, we have the best kind of gator right here.
