My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jolene and I am a BEAUTIFUL 8 year old pure bred Golden Retriever Girlie. My family had to give me up because I was not getting along with her small dogs. Turns out that I have a low thyroid which can make a lady quite cranky! But the doctor put me on meds to make me feel better and hopefully I won't be cranky with little dogs anymore. I do seem to like calm larger dogs and boy do I love people. I mean I am 110% golden - if there is a human within a mile radius, they better be petting me. I am also house trained and walk REALLY good on a leash. I love toys - I pretty much have to pick up a toy when I meet new people. And my rear end just wiggles and wiggles until you pet me. I am completely house trained, crate trained. My foster moms love me so much. They think I am a "doll"! So, if you are looking for pretty Southern girl that is as sweet as sugar, tell them Jolene sent you!
