Trixie's Story...
Meet our lastest bonded Orphans Trixie and Dixie, Trixie is a smaller framed lab mix with beautiful golden brown eyes and shiny white teeth. She seems to be very dependent on her Sister Dixie. We rescued Trixie at a lot behind where we live out in the country in McKenzie, TN. Their owner abandoned them however locals had been leaving food and the owner was still coming around stripping the trailer home. Trixie is a very loving little girl. You can tell that Dixie her sister is the spotlight hog however Trixie doesn't mind. I just have to be certain to show Trixie equal attention. She gave me kisses her 3rd day with me. Trixie will not do her bathroom business in her kennel area or in the house. I have to put her out in our fenced back yard area and she immediately gets to it . Trixie and Dixie are two sister's that need a home together Trixie is 3years old, spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, frontline applied and is on heart worm prevention. Trixie tested negative for heart worms and has already had a spa date!!
Do you have room in your heart and room in your home for these two bonded girls?
These girls are fostered in McKenzie TN (West TN)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Nashville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
