Honey (foster care)'s Story...
HONEY (A20186397) is a 3-5 year old female Staffordshire Bull/Terrier mix. HONEY is a solid girl weighing in about 53 pounds. She is medium in size but sits lower to the ground with a long tail and a short smooth coat. HONEY is one of the cutest dogs at the shelter. She is such a joy to be around and will put a smile on your face. Honey will bring a lot of fun and joy to any family. HONEY came to the shelter as a stray so she is counting the days til her furever family comes and gets her. HONEY walks well on a leash, listens to commands, loves to go for walks and goof around and sit and give hugs and kisses. Just watching this cutie pie will make you laugh. She is full of energy and full of love to give. Stop by ACCT and come meet this adorable girl and fall in love....

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey (foster care), a Philadelphia Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
