Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lia! She was an owner turn in at a local shelter. She was filthy and matted to the skin and scared to pieces. After much coaxing from a volunteer she finally came from the back of her kennel and got a very lengthy bath and cut. The volunteer fell in love and immediately started working to get her out. Now... She is a riot! Energy abounds with this one! and she has totally bullied her much larger foster brother in so much as she even takes away his toys AND food if I don't stop her! She spends hour after hour chasing her tennis ball and ripping apart toys - and then brings the squeaky part to me - as if to say "look here! I killed it! Aren't you proud of me!" But if you want to sit and watch tv all day and hold her in your lap - she's up for that and will climbed into your lap, roll over to be heldlike a baby, and promptly falls asleep! Needless to say - everyone loves her! We are working on her jumping up on you when you get home - she's so exicted to see you. Lia has been spayed and is up to date on heartworm prevention. She would love to meet her forever family.
