Skippy (located in Georgia)'s Story...
We'd like to introduce you to little Skippy, our miracle puppy. He was found wandering in the woods of Florida back in May, emaciated, thirsty and weak. Our wonderful volunteer fosters went and got him and have nursed him back to health with what we believe to be one of his siblings and the rest of their pack. Skippy now weighs 21 lbs, he's only about 7 months old and he's going to be on the small side, but that doesn't mean that he's not a HUGE bundle of love. Skippy's foster Dad says he's the 'best snuggler in the world' and his foster Mom says Skippy is the biggest watchdog in the whole pack!! He's currently being fostered in Georgia and because of his special circumstances, we want him to be adopted locally with someone who is experienced with Carolina Dog (types). Those big floppy ears have been reported to stay up for more than 10-15 seconds in the last week, so this little guy is growing into his BIG personality!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skippy (located in Georgia), a Cranston Carolina Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Carolina Dog puppy from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
