Sparky's Story...
THIS DOG IS IN SIERRA VISTA

Sparky is a special needs little guy. His special need is a lap! He could easily be held 24/7. He’s a 6 year old black and silver Yorkie mix with a disability that could have been genetic or caused by the knee cap being out of place and over time the bones in his legs have reshaped from the change in pressure causing him to be in a constant hunched position. He has almost no use of his rear legs but runs like the wind on his front legs. He seems to be totally unaware that he isn’t physically perfect. When BAR rescued him this little 9 pound man had been living outside, but he adjusted immediately to being in a home, being with other dogs and sleeping with a human. He is a constant loving companion that is looking for a forever lap/home. Call Dori for more information – 458-2997.

Sparky, a Sierra Vista Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Sierra Vista, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Sierra Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sierra Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sierra Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sierra Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
