My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a very sweet, very shy black and tan dapple longhaired dachshund with one blue eye. Her vision is normal, she is 16 months old and she weighs 10#. Daisy loves children, but, she can only go to a home where the children are at least 7 years old or older. She would do best in a home that is moderately quiet as she does get very timid and she is sensitive to a lot of coming and going by multiple people. Daisy loves to play and to cuddle. She adores car rides, leashed walks and is quite good at meeting strangers while on leash. Daisy plays well with other small dogs, she is overwhelmed by large dogs. Daisy is housetrained, fully vetted. Daisy's ideal COLORADO home will have someone home more than gone and a family understanding of her need to warm up slowly to people and situations, someone active enough to play with her daily and another small dog to play with would be best to help strengthen her confidence. Daisy's adoption fee is $250.00, all of her warm fuzzies are priceless. An adoption application is required. The application can be found at www.c2cdr.org and can be filled out online.
