My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walnut was rescued from the Orange County Animal Shelter where he was on "death row". After a good bath and grooming he was a whole new boy! He has completed basic training and is currently in intermediate training with the goal of completing his Canine Good Citizen test by the time he is adopted! He's housetrained, Neutered and up to date on all shots.
Walnut is a great boy, he has lots of energy, gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He bonds nicely to "his person" and enjoys affection and attention. Since he's spent his entire life in someones backyard he's still getting used to some things that we would consider "everyday" in the house. (like ceiling fans) He would be a great addition to a family with older kids or a mature person/couple. He would flourish with a "stay home" parent and someone who would continue with his training.
