Katie Lady's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Katie Lady's Story...
I’m affectionate and really enjoy getting my head and chin scratched and shoulder rubs (although I’m a little sensitive along my back and hind end, so I prefer that people not pet me there).

I like to look in the bathroom mirror and help when you are getting ready for work in the morning!

I’m rather a lap cat and like to watch TV with you (and I do watch TV! – PBS documentaries about animals are very interesting to me). I also like to sleep in bed with you! My foster person thinks I’m quite a character, because when I’m feeling lonely I sometimes sleep on top of her until she rolls over and then I move and come back later.

The other cat I grew up with isn’t very nice to me, so I’m not sure how I feel about other cats – I would probably like them if the other one was mellow and not so bossy.

I am spayed, negative for Feluk/FIV and current on all vaccines. I am approximately 8 years old and will make an excellent companion for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie Lady, a Merrifield Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
