Jimmy's Story...
Ricky, Annie and Jimmy are three kittens from a litter of 5 who are still looking for their new homes. They were born to a feral mom in a garage on March 14, 2013.
They are all adorable, affectionate kittens and would be great playmates for children, other cats and although they have never been around dogs, I am sure they would learn to love a puppy friend, too.

Ricky (has the largest white spot on his chest) is very playful, loves attention and will be a great lap cat. He also loves to play with his sister, Baby Annie.

Jimmy also loves to play with his brother Ricky, but is also independent enough to enjoy playing by himself.

Baby Annie is a kick, she just loves to play and run around with her brothers, she can really hold her own with the boys! She likes attention, being held and talked to. She is quite the little purr machine!

If you would like more information on Ricky, Jimmy and/or Annie, please contact their foster dad, James at jrmfisher@sbcglobal.net or stop by to meet them on Saturday at Petco in Santa Clarita

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jimmy, a La Canada Flintridge Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in La Canada Flintridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in La Canada Flintridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Canada Flintridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Canada Flintridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Canada Flintridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
