Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption.
Hi, my name is Hershey.
My previous owner didn't have the time for me, so I was brought to the shelter in hopes of finding a new home. The shelter is OK but I really want a home and a family to love. The right home would be one with older kids (over 12). I am fine with adults and other animals. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me??
I love to be scratched behind my ears. I have been housebroken but I may need an adjustment period so I can recall that task. I have already been neutered, given my basic shots, and microchipped.
UPDATE: I AM NOW LIVING IN A WONDERFUL FOSTER HOME!!
Hershey's foster mom has this to say about this gorgeous fellow; "Hershey is a three year old Rottweiler mix and he weighs about 65 lbs. He is house trained and enjoys lying in our window seat while chewing on a tennis ball.
He is a wonderful watch dog--he is always the first one to bark if someone is too close to our house.
Hershey has his own unique personality and gets along great with our other dogs. He listens when he's told to sit or go lay down and knows to stay out of the dining room while we're eating. He isn't food aggressive and enjoys playing with the other dogs and our two boys who are seven and four. He would do good in a home with kids that are seven or older simply because of his size. He has a tendency to bump the little one. His temperment is just fine.
