Bambi's Story...

Hi- I'm little Bambi. I'm approx. 6 weeks old as of July 1, 2013. I will be spayed and vaccinated prior to adoption. I have been treated for prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms. I am a lucky little girl! I was rescued along with my siblings and mom from a kill-shelter where 99% of the pets are killed-- we were the lucky ones! We were covered in fleas and parasites and in need of TLC! We are now here at A4A and ready for adoption-- and did I mention, cute as can be? We are happy, healthy kittens- full of love and fun!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bambi, a Xenia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
