I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.
The first step in our adoption process is an application, which you can submit online at www.littlebitsrescue.org It does not obligate you in any way, but we do not arrange meetings or make telephone contact until we have one. Clyde is a beautiful shih tzu boy whose luck hasn’t been good. He is 5-1/2 years old (D.O.B. 12-22-07) and weighs 13.8 pounds. When he was 3-1/2 years old, the only family he’d ever known abandoned him at a shelter. Little Bits was contacted and took Clyde into our program. He found an absolutely wonderful mama who adored him for two years. She passed away unexpectedly and had no family to care for Clyde, so he is back with us. He is, of course, confused and grieving, and he needs a new family as soon as possible. Clyde is a wonderfully well behaved little boy, calm and gentle, and house trained. He gets along with other dogs but is not a playmate. He would do well with a stay at home adopter that he could be close to most of the time. Clyde is neutered, up to date on his immunizations, heartworm negative and on preventative. He will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 10 or with a dog weighing more than 20 pounds. Clyde’s adoption donation is $150, and he is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama. We do approve out of state adoptions, but you must be willing to drive to the foster home to “fetch” your new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet baby, the first step is to submit an APPLICATION
We do not place any dog in a home with "invisible" or underground fencing.
