Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Kiki and I am a 4 year old, buff n white, cocker spaniel girl. I was owned by a lady who decided to go across country with her boyfriend, and never came back for me. The grandmother lived in an assisted living facility and learned that I had been abandoned and left behind by her niece, so I went to live with her . But, then I barked so much, the assisted living facility finally told her that I could no longer stay and she would have to make other arrangements for me. A nice volunteer there kept me from going to animal control and contacted rescues for help to take me, so that I could get a new forever home.
I am heartworm negative, spayed, dog social and I have now been updated on my shots. I am also being treated for a mild ear infection and some skin issues that I came here with from having so many fleas on me. I am looking for a new home and someone to love me, take good care of me and give me the loving home that I deserve. I do need to find a home with someone who can be patient with me and help me to learn proper socialization skills, as I have never had much guidance. If you can take me on walks and work with me it would definitely help me. I tend to bark at strangers when I first meet them, but give me a few minutes and I warm up nicely, and I can be a good girl. . My ideal home will be one with no small kids, and I should not live in an apartment or condo type situation, so that my barking will not annoy the neighbors. I would love to learn how to become a wonderful companion for you to spend time with and then maybe I could just be your sweet baby girl. Maybe my new home is with you. . . . . I am a nice cocker and I just need a little patience and understanding to help me become the best friend you have always wanted. I would love to meet you!
