Daisy Mae's Story...
Hi! I'm Daisy Mae and I'm originally from the Roseville Shelter. I'm about 3-4 years old. I ride well in the car, I'm housebroken and walk pretty well on a leash. I just love my walks. I'm friendly and like kids but my rescue does not want to place me with very young children as sometimes they make me nervous when things get too loud and crazy. I love just hanging out, going for a ride in the car (I'd love to be a RV gal and travel across America) and being with my people. I lived with other dogs in my last home, but could very easily be an only dog. I'm up to date on shots, microchipped and ready for my forever home!

If you'd like to apply for Daisy Mae, or any of our rescue's other dogs, please email info@labsandfriends.org to request an application or go to their website at www.labsandfriends.org and download and fill one out. They can be scanned and emailed or faxed to 818-351-8148 (no cover needed)..

Thank you for rescuing!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy Mae, a Burbank Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
