My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samantha is a one-year-old, unclaimed stray, from the pound. Insofar as her breed is concerned, your guess would be as good as ours; we do think there might be some Retriever in her DNA. Dogs like Samantha are not in rescue because they are bad dogs, just dogs in bad situations. Lack of commitment by previous owners is top of the list of reasons why dogs are abandoned. People can’t resist a cute puppy. A year later when no one took the time to train or exercise the dog, they are not as cute anymore. The dog is thrown out like trash, Animatch and other rescues do their best to turn them into someone else’s treasure. Samantha is a cute, friendly and fun-loving dog who looks forward to a family that will love her. Obedience training should definitely be in her future so she understands what is expected of her. If you are looking for a mellow couch potato ... that would not be Samantha. She has not lost her playful puppy spirit and has a zest for life. If you feel that you have the time and energy for this beautiful girl, then please do fill in the Adoption Form.

“We do not have to wait for Heaven to be surrounded by hope, love and joyfulness. It is here on earth and has four legs.”
