Kirby's Story...
Howdy folks! My name is Kirby & I’m a merry 1 year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix. I'm a sweet, cordial boy searching for that perfect home where I will be loved forever and ever. I just love to frolic around outside with my stuffed toys! You wanna know the #1 reason why you’d be so lucky to have me? I am a real good kisser! I even take treats from you ever so gently. I’m not just a lover of people but I’m also quite suave with the doggies & kitties. I'd do best in a home with older children due to my puppyish immaturity. I do need some obedience training, such as walking on lead without pulling. I am just a delightfully soft, sweet doe eyed little cutie-petootie. Seriously, look how freakin goofy I am with my puppy ears! Please take me home! I'll be the best friend you'll ever have. A great companion like myself should never be behind bars.

Act quickly to adopt Kirby. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kirby, a Huntington Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
