Samantha's Story...
Samantha is a cutie! She was turned into a high kill shelter with her siblings, simply unwanted. She appears to be a scotty mixed with a small terrier. She weighs almost 15 lbs and will probably get to maybe 20 lbs when grown. She has the prettiest black wire hair with white "frosting". Samantha is sweet and fun loving and happy. She would love a home alone or with other canine siblings. She loves other dogs but does play by herself when she is alone. Very cute. She will be great with children but we prefer children over 6 with our small dogs. Samantha is up to date on shots, current on flea and HW prevention and will be spayed before leaving for her new home. If you would like to make this special girl a forever member of your family, please contact lorainecm@comcast,net and we will send you info and an application. Thank you for looking at sweet Samantha!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Brattleboro Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
