Saris's Story...
Saris is simply a diva. She is a confident kitty and knows how beautiful she is. All she has to do is bat her big eyes at her foster Mom and she gets anything she wants. It's hard to say no to this girl! Unfortunately, when Saris was born her mother died, but she was adopted by another kitty Mom who loved her and cared for her as if she was her own. Saris thrived in her new family, and we are so glad. She is smart, loving and playful, and knows how to work a room! Saris has been spayed and micro-chipped, FeLV/FIV tested and is up-to-date on her shots. This 8 week old female is in Huntsville, Al. Please email for an applicaiton!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saris, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
