Lucky's Story...
Lucky..

Lucky got his name from his life experiences. Lucky was brought into an emergency vet clinic by a stranger who saw him get hit by a car. His pelvis was broken. The clinic contacted Animal Helper and of course, we knew we had to help. Lucky was urinating blood and was heartworm positive. Her had a plate surgically placed on his ilium and also an FHO by Dr Hancock at South Paws to repair his broken pelvis and hip. Lucky was then neutered and sucessfuly finished his heartworm treatment. He is on Royal Canin Urinary SO food for crystals in his urine. He is up to date on all his vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and flea prevention. He has had several exams and fecals, which he passed with straight As. He LOVES to play with other dogs. He is excellent with children of all ages. Lucky always has a smile on his face. He is about 48lbs. Can you complete Lucky's story and give him a loving home he deserves??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a New Orleans Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in New Orleans, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in New Orleans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Orleans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Orleans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Orleans paves the way for another one to be saved.
