My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you for your interest in Taj. The volunteer who is bringing Taj has the information on Taj's background. Taj is from a Connecticut pound and may require additional vetting before going home.

Taj is a good girl who loves to run; she would love some regular exercise instead of the 2-3 times per week maximum that she gets out at the shelter. She is very observant, and likes to people- and dog-watch from our dog run. She loves belly rubs, will sit for treats and loves to go on walks. She has very soulful eyes and a sweet disposition. She is a herding dog that would do best with regular physical and mental stimulation. She recently went on a day trip with a volunteer and was very sweet and people-oriented. She is good in the car. To see Taj in action, please visit www.youtube.com/fotnhas to watch her videos.

APPLICATION FORM: http://godogdays.org/find-my-new-best-friend.htm (Copy and paste to browser.)

If you would like to begin the application process, please fill in the form at the link above and we will review your information, call your personal and well as vet references. PLEASE Fill in the application if you're interested in adoption, this will save you time at the event. A letter from your vet on their letterhead will also be very helpful if they won't be open for us to call as a reference. If you are renting, please note you must have a written letter of permission from your landlord to own a dog on their property. Dog Days will be conducting interviews of prospective adopters. As a policy, Dog Days will not hold dogs for potential adopters so it is important to come to the event by 11:00am Saturday morning if you have your heart set on a particular dog. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend which is June 29-30 at Bishops Orchard in Guilford. PLEASE NOTE THAT DOGS ARE GIVEN TO THE BEST HOME, NOT FIRST IN LINE.

ADOPTION EVENT INFORMATION: http://www.godogdays.org/ (Copy and paste into your browser.)

We hope you will understand the careful scrutiny of potential adopters is not only for the safety and well-being of the dog but also for a positive experience for your household. Thank you for saving the life of a shelter dog through adoption; you are truly a hero.

Here is more info on Taj:
