Zuri's Info...

Zuri's Story...
Zuri is a petite little girl weighing less than five pounds. She is a sweet, darling 11 month old youngster full of energy and playfulness. After scampering about and playing with toys, she loves to cuddle for a nap with foster mom or with her foster siblings. Running in the grass outdoors is great fun too. She is still full of puppy. She needs grain-free food. She has luxating patellas that don’t slow her down. She is crate trained and uses potty pads. Learning to go outdoors to go potty is in progress. She sleeps through the night in her kennel in the bedroom.

Fence/enclosed patio required for most dogs. We check your vet reference and fence. Dogs are current on vaccinations, HW negative, micro chipped, dental if needed and spayed/neutered. Email lldogrescue@yahoo.com for quickest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zuri, a Shawnee Mission Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Shawnee Mission, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Shawnee Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shawnee Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shawnee Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shawnee Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
