Baloo's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Baloo's Story...
Baloo was picked up as a stray and impounded at a high kill shelter where he sat for a couple of weeks. No one wanted this sweet boy and there he sat all by himself. Then poor Baloo got kennel cough and his time was up. He was in danger of being euthanized so we saved this gentle giant and now he is safe. Baloo is the sweetest most gentle dog but he does not know his size of 90 pounds. He is good with other dogs but due to his large size, he should be placed with dog(s) near his own size. He even scored an A on his temperament test at the shelter and was a shelter favorite. Baloo will need a home with someone who has the time to spend with him and exercise him. He loves attention and wants to be right by your side. He likes to play with his toys and chase balls. He loves his walks and is in the process of being leash trained. Baloo is about 3.5 years old and is a big sweet baby.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baloo, a San Pedro Mastiff/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Mastiff/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Mastiff/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
