My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TOPANGA
Less than 1 yo Female Exotic Jungle Cat/Pixie Bob

Hi, my name is Topanga, and I am a very unusual girl. I am an exotic (probably Chausie) mixed with the Fold breed so that I could get those cute little lynx looking ears. I was dumped at the shelter by my prior owners, and they only told me that they were moving out of state and couldn't take me. I was pretty upset (well, I still am, to be honest).

Anyway, I was rescued by my foster mom, who was contacted by the shelter telling her how special I am. She saw that, of course, and brought me to this foster home in Lincoln, where I can be the special girl I want to be. (My pictures were taken in a special enclosure connected to the inside.)

My tail is 3/4 length, but very cute and bushy. My hind legs are longer than my front legs, which gives me an even more exotic look, but is actually part of the jungle cat breeding to allow for greater jumping and running.

I am an active cat, and need an active home, with lots of room. I am used to other cats and kids, but enjoy curling up on my human's laps. I am also quite talkative, but I am a good listener, too.

AND my foster Mom just discovered I LOVE feathers. "She brought home a bird and I couldn't believe how fun that is! (She says its a toy bird, but I think she's wrong. It flaps its feathers, and it sounds like a bird. I'm pretty sure it is a bird, and I'm going to get it!) I can do some amazing air acrobatics trying to catch that bird. I can leap higher and turn better than any cat in the house!"

If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mom.
