My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Allie & Ethel. Allie is the daughter of Ethel. They are 2 sweet gals that are very devoted to each other and MUST be adopted together. Allie is 8 years old and Ethel is 9. They were rescued from another shelter that was closing and came to Friendship in hopes of getting a loving home.
Ethel and Allie are crate trained and have impeccable house manners. Both are very social lap dogs and great on a leash. A fenced in yard would be nice for them to be able to lounge around but not a must. It's probably best if they live in a quiet adult household or one with teenage children that respect dogs. It's not known if they like cats or dogs but they may be the only pets you need. They certainly have a lot of love to give.

Ethel's left front left leg has been amputated and her eyesight is starting to fail. Even though, she and Allie like to go for walks. Having only 3 legs does not deter Ethel. At some point early in her life her leg was shattered. She had been hobbling around on it until arriving at Friendship. The vet thought it best to amputate it to keep her from being in pain later on in life. She can go up the stairs, but is carried down the stairs. She's doing great and having no problem at all walking on 3 legs. Probably a quiet home would be best for both of them.

Allie is more active than her mom. Both will keep you laughing with their sweet antics.
