My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Fassa's friend, Pippi. Pippi is a female, Chocolate Boxer/Lab mix with natural tail and ears. She is 9 weeks old. Pippi's emaciated, pregnant Mom (labrador) and their Boxer Dad was given to a shelter. Her mom was immediately pulled from the shelter an shortly thereafter, Pippi and her litter mates were born. Pippi's Mom has been adopted by her foster home, and it is our understanding Pippi's Dad has gone into rescue.

Pippi and her litter mates have been in foster care since birth. Pippi has received the 3 series of puppy vaccines. She has been de-wormed twice. Pippi is the most playful, and active of this litter. Pippi as we all of the pups in this litter appear to wait to potty until they are outside. Pam, the foster Mom said, they all then run to their respective potty area. Fassa's Friends sincerely thanks Pam and Dave for offering to foster all 5 pups until we can get them North. Because Pippi is so young and has been with her litter mates for 9+ weeks, she is socialized with other dogs and should be fine with cats. possibly exhibiting curiosity more than anything else.

Pippi and her peeps will be flying in to New Jersey on Tuesday, July 2nd. If you are interested in meeting Pippi, please cvisit our website: www.fassasfriendsboxerrescue.com; click on the Adoption Tab at the top of the website page and scroll to Adoption Application.

As with all of our young puppies, the following is required for Pippi: 1. a completely enclosed physical fence (e-fences/underground fencing is not acceptable). 2. FFBR (Fassa's Friends Boxer Rescue) requires ALL of our very young puppies, like Pippi, complete a basic puppy training class. Boxers are a high energy breed. Basic Puppy Training teaches YOU how to train your puppy.
