Nutmeg's Story...
Nutmeg is a beautiful medium/long hair tabby who may have some Maine Coon Cat in him. He is 4 months old and has received two rounds of kitten vaccinations, is negative for FeLV and FIV, has been wormed and is healthy. He is very active and friendly and gets along great in his foster home with Sheba and the other adult cats in the home. He gets along well with the large dogs in his foster home and would do well with cat friendly dogs. Nutmeg was saved from our local animal control facility and deserves a second chance in life. Stop by to visit Nutmeg and see what a great addition he would be to your home.

Nutmeg and Sheba are great pals in their foster home and would love to be adopted together but can be adopted separately!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nutmeg, a Jefferson Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Jefferson, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Jefferson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jefferson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jefferson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jefferson paves the way for another one to be saved.
