McFlurry's Story...
McFlurry is a tri-colored senior that absolutely loves to play! When he runs, he gets excited and hops like a rabbit, pouncing on his toys! McFlurry prefers to sleep in his doggie bed, but if you pick him up and put him on the sofa or bed with you, he is out like a light. He loves to be brushed and will lay for hours if you continue it. Sadly, this boy's owners passed away, but now McFlurry is available for adoption through our Senior for Seniors Program. What beautiful coloring and a full coat he has! He deserves a loving home to take care of him and let him know he truly is very special!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McFlurry, a COLUMBUS Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in COLUMBUS, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in COLUMBUS.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in COLUMBUS already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a COLUMBUS breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in COLUMBUS paves the way for another one to be saved.
