Hoppie (Callie)'s Story...
Look at this beautiful 3 year old girl. Saved from the Chino Valley Animal Shelter, she LOVES PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS. Her leg was amputated 2-3 years ago, so this girl does not even know she is missing ANYTHING! She loves to run and enjoys the water. Very comfortable around all other dogs. Her favorite way to relax (besides sleeping) is to rest her chest on your lap where her leg is missing.

This girl (Hoppy) is the PERFECT DOG. POTTY TRAINED, does not chew.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hoppie (Callie), a Scottsdale Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
