Marley's Story...
Meet Marley - 7 week old long haired kitten who is playful and sweet and in need of a good loving home. He looks like a little gray butter ball. The mother cat came from a lady who had 4 mama cats, all with kittens, that she wanted to unload at Animal Control but they were closed... We ended up with two of the mama cats and their kittens. One mama kitty is a short haired gray tabby with white paws and the other is a gray long hair kitty. Both are pretty young themselves but were very good mother cats who took great care of the kittens. There's a total of 5 kittens and they all run around and play together quite nicely.

The kittens will be ready for adoption on July 2nd. There's 2 in one litter b orn around 5/8/13 and 3 in the other born around the same time. The litters consist of:
- Rascal, male, light gray and white tuxedo, short hair male
- Cooper, male, gray tabby with white paws, short hair male
- Kirby, dark gray tabby and white, dark spot on nose, short hair male
- Marley, dark gray male with long hair
- Clint, dark gray swirl male with spots on his tummy, short hair male

These kittens have had their first distemper vaccine and have been wormed, bathed, ears cleaned and treated for fleas. They will be combo blood tested next week. They are healthy, happy and playful and are litter box trained (use hard clumping litter in an open air litterbox). They eat dry kitten food and canned kitten food.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Harrisburg, Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Harrisburg,, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Harrisburg,.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburg, already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburg, breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburg, paves the way for another one to be saved.
